Velarees is designed with a single principle: Verification without retention. Access without exposure. We verify identity only to protect the community, never to profile, monetize, or retain sensitive personal documents.

Identity Verification Information (Very Important) To protect members and prevent misuse, Velarees may require identity verification during onboarding or access review. This may include: Government-issued ID document (e.g., passport, national ID), or One-time video verification (video KYC / selfie verification) How this data is handled: Used only to confirm identity and eligibility Processed securely and transiently Not stored after verification is completed Not linked to your Veil ID or visible profile Not shared with other users Once verification is completed: All raw identity documents or video data are immediately discarded or irreversibly anonymized. Velarees does not maintain a repository of identity documents. c. Account & Access Data Veil ID (system-generated identifier) Invitation and sponsorship metadata Circle and event participation records Access permissions and revocation history d. Velarees operates on explicit permission: Profiles appear only when allowed Access can be revoked instantly Sensitive views may be logged for safety Content may expire or become inaccessible by design You control when you are visible and when you are not.
5. Screenshots, Recording & Monitoring
To protect member privacy: Screenshots or screen recordings may be restricted or detected Repeated violations may trigger access limitations Certain events are logged silently for safety These measures exist to preserve trust, not to publicly police behavior.
6. Data Sharing
Velarees does not sell or rent personal data. Data may be shared only: With vetted service providers supporting verification or infrastructure (under strict confidentiality) When legally required To prevent fraud, abuse, or harm Identity verification partners (if used) are contractually prohibited from retaining or reusing data.
